With AI infiltrating every corner of the internet and industry, Give a Fig Studio is a place where we say: that’s enough, computer. With both its environmental and social implications, AI is decidedly destructive, not creative. We want to build a world where all artistic elements are made and sourced by humans - and by extension, by heart and soul.

Founder's Story

We met through the internet, as many do. Technology has created an infinite place for community building, and as millennials with deep memories of early Internet lore, we bonded through a shared mission: to continue beautifying the World Wide Web while remaining grounded in our shared ethics and values.

We are both freelancers in the marketing and digital media space with different professional perspectives. With Yamini’s expertise as a digital strategist and Katia’s background as an artist with a digital eye, it felt natural to work together to create digital elements that are accessible, beautiful and that reflect the Internet they want to build. Meaning: an internet that reflects its people, not AI or stolen art. We hope you will join us in continuing to make the Internet a beautiful space for art.
